Emre Sahin

Distributed systems engineer who previously built consensus layer tooling for two Layer 1 blockchain teams. At Defimec, Emre leads protocol architecture and owns the routing engine. He wrote the first version of the cross-chain bridge in 2023 and still reviews every significant protocol change before it ships.
Defne Arslan
Head of Protocol
Protocol economist and smart contract architect. Defne designed the liquidity aggregation model and the compliance layer specification that makes Defimec usable under BDDK guidelines. She holds a degree in mathematics from ODTU and spent three years at a derivatives desk before moving into protocol design.
Burak Yilmaz
Lead Engineer
Full-stack engineer who builds the SDK, API layer, and developer tooling that make the Defimec protocol accessible to integration teams. Burak joined from a fintech startup where he built payment gateway integrations for eleven countries. He focuses on making complex cross-chain operations feel straightforward from the developer side.
